Dark Green Thorn Raven Tour with Rohloff Hub available in Birmingham UK

Used but in fine condition, it has been well serviced with annual oil changes. Approx 8 years of light use.
It is one of several bikes I own and I am only selling it as I dont do too much touring anymore.

That's a really subtle color for a touring bike. At night, turning up at the opera, it would look black and sedate, and in sunshine it won't look like you're going to a funeral, very racey in BRG, very British, you know. I like it! Not surprised at all to discover there are two aspirant new keepers already...

I can't work out how the shifter is fitted. The OP says "Hubub drop bar adaptor for Rohloff twist grip", but the shifter is mounted to the stem. How has he done it?

Looks to me like the shifter is mounted to the steering tube with a nifty widget that takes the place of a space, like an auxiliary bar cut down severely. Haven't seen one of those before but looks perfectly practical.

I am guessing that somebody just sawed off a Thorn accessory bar to make that mount. Clever!

I would guess 21 inches equates to a 537 mm virtual seat tube, and given the short looking top tube I would say this is probably a 537S Raven Tour.

To be sure, best to ask the seller to quote the details under the bottom bracket.

Hi Jim,

I spoke to the seller, and what a pleasant lady she is. We agreed that I should speak to SJS and get all the details regarding the bike first. I would have liked to have bought this bike but it seems that it is a 512s,and on speaking to SJS, was told that it would probably be a bit on the small side for me. No doubt whoever gets this bike will be getting a cracking bike . Good luck to seller and buyer.
