Peter,
Snowpeak is a brand worth investigating for titanium pots.

What a wonderful bounty to find in the mail, Pete. Really looking forward to see where you place the additions and especially that handlebar bag.

Hi All again,
So I do not know where to post this so I'm posted it here  :P
I got a Sony Action Cam and have been look at mounting it on my Tom I have tyred a few place's and been in a lot of pain thinking about it...... Well at last I have come up with the Best set up in the World  :P

I got a Manfrotto 492 Ball head here.

I removed the bushing (down to 1/4")

Then tapped out the inside (which was 5mm) to M6

Here's the Tap

Then cleaned it, and fitted a bolt to check sizing

Then cut a bolt and fitted a nut and washer

And then fitted it in place of my old top cap and bolt, Here

Then I mount up my Action Cam

How I can adjust it to not only be pointed out front but down to my front wheel, sideway's, or back to my crank's/feet e.t.c.

Have a go  8)

Pete  ;)

Hi Pete!

My! Tom is looking magnificent, and you surely did a fine job of mounting the ball head in place of the stem cap. It looks fantastic ("Factory", which is high praise indeed), and will come in ever so handy as you film; outstanding!

Wise to get the Click-Stand in a color bright enough to see against mud and dirt.

Pete, I have just the thing for you: http://www.bikebrake.com/

I've been using these on my own Nomad and have been very pleased. You can see some detailed photos attached to my post here: http://www.thorncycles.co.uk/forums/index.php?topic=4523.msg35115#msg35115

The bands are low-profile and unobtrusive; on my drop-'bars, I can ride on them and never know it. The little tab at the edge makes it easy to pick them off the 'bars, they hold very firmly and they come in a variety of colors.  Only time will tell as to their durability, but so far they seem to be fine. As a hedge, I installed a second set for my interrupter levers so I can use whichever is handiest at the moment, and have a backup pair already installed and ready to go in case one breaks while on tour.

Best,

Dan.

Thanks for the invitation, Pete -- I'd enjoy taking a ride with you!  ;D  Same to you if you ever make it up this way.

Oh! I spy, with my little eye...something clamped to the front loop of your Jones bar...something besides the bell. Whazzit?  ???

All the best,

Dan.
