Vik, nice build. What size frame is your Sherpa? I assume the steerer tube is currently uncut?(!)

Hi Kevin,

The frame is a 535L and the steerer is indeed uncut.  I need to finalize the bar height sooner or later and get the excess cut off... :o  I'm aiming to have the bar approximately level with the saddle.  This is a link to my build details - http://thelazyrandonneur.blogspot.com/2007/01/thorn-sherpa.html  I've changed the saddle, stem and front rack since then, but the rest of the bits remain the same... :)

Here is a pic of the new Surly Nice front rack.

Nice Sherpa Bobs.

For me, the Sherpa is a bit of an unsung hero in the Thorn line-up and it could just be the bike that I need to tempt my wife back into cycling.
