Took the Mercury to rest awhile at Wayfarer's bench in Meriden (The centre of England) on a loop from Birmingham down to Stratford and back to Derby

43/17 which with 35mm tyres gives a range of 19" - 101"  and more importantly a 68" direct gear which is spot on for most of my riding, though with last weeks wind a 40" gear would have been more appropriate.
