Hello geocycle,I'm going to use her for a lot of daytrips at the moment then get into longer tours as time goes on,I live in Derbyshire so I have the lovely Peak district on my doorstep, unfortunately I have to work Saturdays so my time is limited at the moment, however when I retire the worlds my oyster as they say.

Thanks Danneaux,I thought I would get the best I could afford so I wouldn't need to add much at a later date,

Ah if your happy with the way it feels (you are) i'd leave the thudbuster where it is.
Dan had one on his Nomad he loves it.
i  could do with one on my audax (bad back) but it had to much layback on it so i'll stick with what i have, anyway enjoy sure is a beauty.

You might not; low pressure in fat tires can do a lot to make a ride more comfortable (air suspension).

I do like my Thudbusters, but then I often ride on really rough gravel and logging roads.

Enjoy every mile in that lovely bike!

Best,

Dan.

Nice bike, Ridge! I've had my Raven for three years now -- they're great bikes, so versatile.  Enjoy!

Absolutely beautiful.....   I love, among so many things on the bike, the detail treatment on the very front of the front fender...   kinda cool...
of course, that's a tiny accessory detail, and the whole bike looks just awesome.  Enjoy!!!
