But what IS that blob, behind the Rohloff?  Is that some new-fangled device to create extra drag, for the really fit?

those ould heavy rohloff  would only slow me down,

I made a few adjustments to the audax today, dropped the bars by a Cm,put the shimano spd  pedals back on adjusted the cleats.just done a hardish 12 miles hilly and windy but all went very well no foot or back pain bigger ride needed to be sure to be sure.
My tour starts  the end of may so like to get pilot and bike in good working  order ;)
