Thorn audax 853 for sale

Well i'm selling my Thorn Audax 853 i just cant get it to fit properly way to big for me so it has to go.
size seat tube measures 50.5
top tube 53.5 ctoc comes with mudguards/ Thorn seatpost/ bb/ and headset .

I suppose you've tried a variety of stems to adjust reach and 'bar height?

I'm really sorry you are selling your Audax Jags, it's an absolute beauty, a credit to you and the previous owner John. The trouble with a bike that doesn't quite fit 100% is that it can create physical problems. I wish it was my size as I would snap it up in a jiffy although I can't see it being for sale for very long.

I'm sad for you Jags but hoping you get a good price for it.

dan i tried everything believe me  but its just to big.
if someone offers me a good price for the lot ill sell only thing ill keep the saddle and leavers there my sons lol.
its a cracking bike believe me the paintwork has a few marks but nothing much, wheels are new tyres are good everything on it is 100% perfect i didnt clean it today after the spin to much pain, but i usually  clean it after every spin,

Thanks lads im just gettin a bike ready for tomorrow much smaler will post photos later just changed all the cables pedals now i need to straighten out the wheels  man i hate it when people dont look after there bikes.my buddy knew giving it to me was a win win situation he will get it back 100 times better  .

Sell the frame as it is easier to post from Ireland. Plus you would still have most parts to build another. Are you really sure it is too big? It was too small for me.
Also have you tried a different stem or saddle moved forward or whatever?
Anyhow it would be best to sell frameset because you just find another and build up again.

yeah your right about selling frame only but if i can a good price for the lot its going.
i have to keep saddle and leavers there my sons and only used for brakes.so the new owner could buy a set of break leavers no big deal fitting them.

ok 900euro for the lot any takers
450euro for frame which includes
mudguards
headset
thorn seatpost
bottom bracket SQ taper.
quality bike so grab a bargain.

You could use a straight seatpost instead of the layback seatpost you have fitted and I'm sure you could also use a shorter stem too.
