Tigra BikeCharge Power Converter
« on: September 15, 2014, 07:02:06 PM »
I need to keep my phone topped up at all times, elderly parents and a Grand child on the way. I was looking to fit a B&M E-WERK some time in the future but it's an expensive item! The Tigra power converter looks to be a bargain at a little under £20 from Evens Cycles. Any one running a Tigra  Bike Charge Power Converter with a Schmidt SON 28 Dyno hub direct to run a phone? Phone is a Galaxy s3 in a Tigra Power plus bike console?

Realistically how long do you need to keep it charged for.  If it is a few extra hours then a battery pack from maplin may be the answer. Like these http://www.maplin.co.uk/c/batteries-and-power/portable-power

I use a usb week by B&M it works very well and keeps my phone fully charged.  They are much cheaper from http://www.bike-discount.de
