Thorn Mercury
« on: May 31, 2014, 09:46:21 PM »
For  Sale. Thorn Mercury 520L Stealth Black Rohloff Sport in immaculate condition. I bought this bike from SJS Jan 2013. I have ridden it for 20 miles only.
As you can see its in great condition. I paid £2k and would sell for £1800. It is really hardly used. I have quite a few bikes for sale as I am just not going to use them. If you need more detail please let me know. Thanks Steve.

Oh, I am Old Nick Himself, see left. But I wouldn't actually ride it. I'd just pose on it in front of the Le Caff Poseur, where the guys with the plastic bikes hang out. Wicked!

Many thanks.

According to the Thorn Mercury brochure, the "probably height of cyclist suitable for this size frame" 520L, is 1620 - 1710mm. It gives quite a lot of info on frame sizes.

A beautiful bike!

Came across this old post via a Google search on 'Thorn Mercury' and just wondering if it sold or was it withdrawn from sale?

I'll say! One of the nicest Mercurys I've ever seen. Wow. A stunner.

'Be nice if it was still available...if you get it, will you favor us with some more Gallery shots, Richard?  ;)

Best,

Just curious Dan! Quite happy with Torla the Raven Tour (but they say that bikes are happier in a herd). Please don't encourage me to commit to this bike!  ;)  ;D Yes, you are a CBI !

Looks amazing! Black isn't very practical in terms of dirt, but still a good combo.
