Sherpa satin black finish
« on: May 02, 2014, 09:45:37 PM »
Hi

have just taken delivery of a Sherpa frame in satin black.  A few grease marks on the frame from the prep - anyone know the best way to remove this?

thanks

Yes. Two things worked on mine for both Sherpa and the Nomad:

1) Glass cleaner for most of it. Here in 'Merka, I prefer Spic 'n' Span, though Windex will do as well.

2) isopropyl alcohol for the more stubborn areas.

Neither harmed the clear coat on my two examples.

Hope this helps, Ian. All congratulations on the new bike -- wow! Exciting news!

All the best,

Dan.

 Baby wipes......

Useful in your tool kit too!

Happy cleaning

thanks guys.  I'll dust off the camera when I've cleaned up the frame.
