Spotted a Red kiddyback Tandem, Dad on the front girl on the back Gloucester road, Bristol, Saturday 20/8/06. Was it you? (First time I have seen another Thorn!)

Get out more! Seriously I live 20 miles away near Thornbury. At least 6 Thorns plus my three in the area.

I know it sad isn't it!  I noticed the average quality of bikes in Bristol is much higher than on Gower (where I live) also there was a better ratio of bicycle to cars.

On my normal cycle route I am far more likely to see a tractor than another bicyclist. (Rural)

The Kiddyback looked great fun and practical – I am thinking that I may get one in a year or two (my son is only three years old)

Hello,
You are much better off where you are. I went into Bristol some years ago. Not a nice experience. Before living in Gloucestershire I lived in Poole/Bournemouth. Now there is a good cycling area!
