Getting rid of my handlebar extension, which spacers should I put?

I am not using my Thorn handlebar extension so I will take it out for saving the extra weight. Which spacers should I buy for replacing the "hole" of the extension? Any preference in the material?

Most are aluminium alloy, but you could splash out on titanium or carbon fibre.
Different colours and thicknesses are available allowing you to mix and match to suit your preferred colour scheme.

I'm sure Danneaux has a nice neat solution on his Nomad if I remember correctly, it is more like a collar instead of individual spacers which looks great in my book. Unfortunately I can't locate it on the forum but I'm sure he'll point you in the right direction, he's very helpful.

SJS Cycles (Thorn's sister company) make available taller spacers that look very nice indeed. Fewer breaks between spacers makes for a more integrated appearance. Pictures and links here: http://www.thorncycles.co.uk/forums/index.php?topic=7847.msg50557#msg50557

Depending on how much room remains above the steerer, a 24mm spacer alone (available separately here: http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/thorn-alloy-headset-spacer-w-internal-bore-1-1-8-inch-prod27562/?geoc=us ) might substitute nicely for the Thorn Accessory T-bar. You just need to leave a wee bit of room above the steerer so you can remove any slack in the headset bearings. A 24mm *and* a 3mm would exactly equal the space taken by the T-bar.
