Used green Thorn Brevet. 53cm seat tube, 55cm top tube, with seatpost and square-taper BB in place. Scratched, but looks like a nice project. 531C frame. Horizontal TT. Threaded quill stem required.  Probably dating from before 2003, as this is lugged rather than fillet-brazed as shown in brochure here: http://web.archive.org/web/20030810010815/http://www.sjscycles.com/thorn/700solobrochure/brevet.htm

Eyelets for a rear rack and for mudguards all 'round.

oh man this is driving me nuts  i have christmas and the daughters wedding in january, if i bid for that and win i'm in big trouble ,i seriously cant afford it but then again i cant not afford to take a chance.

This frame might go quite cheaply. It's green (hmmm ...) and AFAIK has a threaded headset which not everyone wants.

Ah, what a shame, jags, but "better" will come along soon. I now you had a respray in mind if you'd won this one...there just may be a blue Audax just waiting in the wings. As Neil said, we'll keep eyes open for one that might work.
