padlocks for my bike? dont want to get the wrong one

Some years back I was parking my bike outside my apartment for long periods & I used a very heavy chain ^& padlock like this:

I can't imagine carrying this chain around, though! I carry a 4.5 lb U-lock which is plenty enough steel, thanks! I also carry a cable for when I can't find a suitable place where the U-Lock can be attached.

ABUS is a good brand. I have seen reviews of that lock you referenced. It is not a chain, but an armored cable. I think a person could cut the cable between the armored sections, with a bit of work.

ABUS makes something similar to my Kryptonite chain:
