WEll lads this time tomorrow I'll be Thornless. my beautifull sherpa will be setting sale to another land to start a new and much better adventure than i could ever give it.
but if it could talk i bet it would miss Anto and ireland , we had some great spins and a lot of fun  travelling around the lanes of ireland.
but all good things must come to an end .it sure took me a while to get to enjoy and appreciate   the sherpa, as i was coming from  a lightweight road bike background but once you get used to the feel of it its a cracker of a ride...i'm surly tempted to take it out for my last spin on it but i washed  polished and lubed  checked everything on it and the roads are still wet so im not going through that again  
ah well farewell my lovely enjoy your new adventures i'll miss you buddy.

PS I can relate to the way you enjoy the Raleigh. I have a frame and fork that was made to measure in 1987. 531 tubing and just really nice to ride. I wore out the original groupset and replaced it a long time ago with an early version Campag's ergo gear.

well deal done Chris here drinking tea and listening to my tales of woe,
but seemsto be well pleased with the deal loves the bike took him for a 20 mile night ide all went smooth as silk he might need to adjust thingsto suit himdelf but thats normal.
so a very early start in he morning going to leave him to port 6 am .
