Thorn Raven Enduro frame SOLD
« on: November 02, 2012, 10:42:12 AM »
Thorn Raven Enduro frame with eccentric bottom bracket.

Frame is generally in excellent condition, with only a couple of minor marks to its black paintwork. There are small wear marks on seat stays where mud from tyres has rubbed the paintwork (see photo- the wear is only the small area below and left of braze-on) and there is inevitably some paint missing on dropouts. Rest of paintwork is pretty much immaculate.
It is made from Reynolds 853 steel and is Rohloff specific.
It is a 559M size:  444mm (17.5") seat tube c to top, 600mm virtual top tube, 27.2 seat post diameter, 11/8" headset

£225 posted (or can pick up or arrange meet in Herts/London area)

Hi Etienne,

This is the Enduro frame which pre-dates the Stirling and is specifically designed for cross-country (with suspension fork and disk brakes) as opposed to touring. I am running an identical frame (hence sale of this one) with Rohloff and EX box and its a great combo. Your Rohloff does need to be a disk version (there are no v-brake boss fittings)

Regards,

 Steve

:D  ok for me - it's a deal - special care because I need to contact my cousin - 30 years old living in London,
should not be a problem - more via PMail,  rgds

I am delighted with those combo - because I do also prepare a tandem with same wheel.

Hi Etienne,

I await your reply. Further info can be found on the frame here-

Depending where your cousin is in London, I could deliver it myself to him as I go in quite often and its not far.
