Oh! Wonderful news, Etienne! The right bike is always "out there"; just a matter of connecting with it.
I hope your first-time tandem experience will be a positive one. When my father and I test-rode ours, it was with some...anticipation and concern about how we'd do. Turns out, we hopped in and never had a single problem. The Big Bike has been a joy ever since.
