Dan you might find this interesting...
I'll say! Watched it three times, jags, and plan on another. I have several observations...

1) You guys drive really, really fast there.  :D

2) Doesn't take long to get anywhere.  ;)

3) I didn't see a lot of on-street bike paths.  :o

4) Wonderful mix of Old Town and New Town. Heritage and modernity; a nice place to be!  ;D

5) I can see why you wanted to personally guide A. in to make sure he actually made it to your place.  ;) A very kind offer on your part, and a very smart offer to accept.

6) Jack and Denise will watch this even more times than I did.  ;D

Lovely, scenic town with lots and lots to see. The bridge is gorgeous, and all the green. Man, I'm all set to go right now!

Thanks so much for posting this, jags. A real treat!

All the best,

Dan.

The secret to it all?

"Keep the driver next to the centerline"...which covers everything except for going against traffic!  :o

Of course, that doesn't seem to stop people here...

Best,

Dan.

Pete going over mols gap in kerry i got talking to an american  tourbus driver really nice guy full of fun. i asked him what he thought of driving on irish roads especially in kerry,  he laughted and reckoned we were all mad men ,didn't make much odds driving on the left or right he said the bus was the same width as the road. ;D ;D

Personally, I would put money on Pete (NZPeterG) being able to do this, and likely far faster!

Hi Dan,
WHY SO SLOW? yes I have been in place's like that too  :o
At Nordkapp I would hang the front of the Bus over a 100+ metre drop on a Bus with the front wheels 1.7 metre back from the front of the Bus  ;D Passage's would jump back  :D
In New Zealand I once backed up and hang the rear over a 200 metre hillside after asking the Passage's to stop me at the last point before going over the side  :o hanging 3 metre's over the hill side was load's of FUN had only one rear axle and stopped with my rear wheel's .3 of a metre from the road side!
Driving Bus's with over 450 HP on wet road's in Rome = sideways  :)
(NOTE No Passager's where on the BUS in Rome)
Mad No  Safe? Yes..????

Pete....
 ;)
