Well Well because my new MTB is ordered and on its way you all will see Tom in full cycle tour set up in the next 6 weeks.

Love it as i'll have Tom loaded up just waiting to go riding at anytime.
Photo's to come with the charge over to a hot new set up...........   ;D

The BG Bike Fit is the 3rd best thing I have done in the last 20 = years of Mountain Biking!

!st: Suspension Forks (my 1st pair around about 1990)

2nd: Rohloff (1st rohloff was in 2005?)

3rd: BG Bike Fit (this year it takes over 3 + hours)

(I have had over 6 or more bike fits over the years plus and just ended in pain because all up until the BG Bike Fit had not worked out that I have one leg 10mm longer or one 10mm shorter?)

 :o  Pete   :P

Hi All,
Well I have started changing Tom about into full HD on/off road cycle touring.
Today I fitted the STD Thorn Nomad forks back on, changed the tyres to Schwalbe Marathon Extreme Folding Tyre - 26 x 2.25 Inch. They are a lot smaller then the old 2.3" and there is how room for Fenders to fit.

I have also fitted Handlebar bag too.

Photo's to come  8)

Pete.......

Cool day today riding Tom to work and home again  :-*

Tried to order a pair of 65mm SKS Fender today too but the wholesale only have up to 60mm in New Zealand! that's a pain!
Loving the small tyre's on Tom too! 2.25"

More too come......

What a teaser photo, Pete!  ;D

Love the disc and have put it directly on my own Nomad's need.want list...!

Fine seeing the original fork and front racks on Tom, and I see he's now sporting his name on the top tube as well. Let's see some more photos, perhaps with panniers installed.

Best,

Dan.

Hi Dan, you will have to wait on more photo's of Tom!

I have new fenders to fit and a few more thing's to go on, BUT my new MTB is on it's way, was to be at work Today! but it's is still coming! can only hope it may turn up in the morning? (Saturday) if not  :'(
Monday!!

I may have to use Tom's Handlebar's as the new Handlebar's for my new MTB do not look like they may turn up 2 to 8 week's! I have had the bar's on order for over 3 weeks so far! Wholesalers can be a pain  :o

Wow! What a fantastic trail, Pete. An excellent photo of your wonderful outdoors as always.

I especially like the double crossing under the fallen tree.

Best,

Dan. (...who is looking forward to seeing Tom in his new guide)

Very nice, Pete. I especially like the symmetry you've achieved with the taillight and reflectors, and I look forward to more ride reports with the new shifter cover.

Best,

Dan.

That's a sweet little "card", Pete, and very nice to see.

Ah, me; I can only dream of such at Christmastime until I manage to visit friends in New Zealand and Australia to do it properly. My best friend from 2nd grade in elementary school lives in Brisbane, and we've kept in touch all these years.

Meantime, enjoy it for me, and for goodness' sake, man...bottle that sunshine so there'll be some left to enjoy when I arrive!  ;D

All the best, and Merry Christmas to you.

Dan.
