Here is a dreadful story. Just in the last couple days, this fellow who is racing his Thorn around the world... got hit by a truck! He didn't get hurt too badly it seems, which is a miracle if you look at what happened to his bike:

Boy, Jim, what a horrible event for him; I am so sorry. Seeing the bike, I can't believe he's still with us. I very much wish him the best in his recovery.
