I ride with it in senso mode which I think is German for always on)

I ride with my edolux in senso mode but it is certainly not on all the time. I get a kick out of riding down a long hill in and out of shady spots. I can feel the vibration kicking in when I get into the shade and the generator switches on, then the ride smooths out again when I get back into the sunshine.

Beautiful! Enjoy!

We've got a foot and a half of snow on the ground, highs around 20F and lows getting below 0F, then some freezing rain forecast for Tuesday. I'm stuck on the stationary bike in the basement. Plus looking at maps and dreaming of rides for when spring starts peeking through! My new Thorn arrived late November. Tough season to really get out a lot!

I love the colour.  I even had to change the seat post for a black easton!  Pretty much the only chrome on my bike is the crankset.  Black bikes definitely don't stand out in the bike shed which means you have to rmember where you left it but it might not come to the attention of a thief. Here's a recent pic of my RT hiding behind a sign.

Neil, as you started the thread, nice bike!  As are all the others!!!

Here's mine:

The rack and rackbag have since gone on my tandem as they just felt too heavy on the RST.

Thanks to everyone for the positive comments towards my new bike and all the other RST's on show look great too.
I'm looking forward to my 4-45am commute on wednesday to find out how good the Schmidt Edelux really is and comparing times with my derailleur equipped bike.

Is that a pump on the seat-tube ? What kind is it ? I've resorted to carrying a mini-pump in the rack bag, my pref is always a frame-fitting Zefal HPX, but thats not an option on my (black) RST.

Yes it is a Blackburn mini pump which attaches to the bottle cage bosses quite neatly although like you I would have preferred a frame fitting pump. I don't really understand why they have done away with the pump pegs on the RST, perhaps they feel it makes it look more sporty without?
