Mr Thorn's best derailleur tandem for touring/audax (they seem to only do Rohloff now), fillet brazed in 853 with 753 forks. It's about as light and stiff as steel could get with that extra downtube. Very nice condition, details in linked photos.
Rides well, though not really a first machine, as it handles best with 'spirited' riding. We had it up to 90kph coming off Tourmalet
It's a custom size, but I would say medium at the front, small at the back. As setup in the picture, for 5'10" captain, and 5'5" stoker as a guide. Although my daughters have happily ridden it too, initially with kiddycranks.
8 speed + bar end shifters + drops + Suntour SE cantis (could be setup with flat bars and V-brakes if necessary)
Recent service, new tape, cables, chain, brake blocks.
