Hi, I was looking for a one week bike maintenance course and then it occurred to me I might be able to arrange a custom course just for adventure bike tourers. Cycle Wales up in North Wales (about 10 miles west of Beddgelert, not far from the coast) is willing to do that. I wanted a course oriented to mountain-bike riders/tourers, ie a focus on MTB groups, suspension and hydraulics and using pocket tools where possible. Wheels and transmission covered too, of course. We need 5 people but have only 2 committed and one possible. This is not a money-maker for me, the course costs £362+VAT each for the 5 days and we would pay CycleWales directly (their website is cyclewales.net). But as they want me to commit to them that I've got the numbers, please contact me if you are interested. I have a final deadline of Jan 10th to commit to go ahead, and presumably pay them around then.
