I don't understand.  Don't you use 'in-line' cable adjusters at the V-brake noodle?

Yes, but they came with the Dia Compe levers!

With the Tektros they need to be purchased seperatly

most people get a bit confused with thorns the bikes in tha catalog are just the start you can have any bits fitted you like as long as the shop sells them and they will go someway if they do not so you want hydrolic disc brakes the thorn disc forls are asymetric just like the ones you want or you could have carbon or rim brake reynolds 531 touring fork
