In 1996 when the frames were hand made in the back of the shop I bought a Mk1 Audax from Robin Thorn ( I have the receipt!)
This is not the right bike for the riding I now do so it's time someone else had a go with it.
This bike has been well maintained and gently updated a bit over the years.
Current spec:
57.5 cm frame - I am 175cm and it fits me fine.
Frame refinished in close to the original royal blue powder coat but much better quality than the original.
Sora STI changers, front and rear mechs.
105 calliper brakes
Deore hubs, Mavic Open rims.
I can't remember what the bottom bracket is but I has only done a few miles.
SKS chromplastic mudguards
28mm Gatorskins
