Quite like the design though never heard of the make.  Inner pitch first which some people hate, though I prefer. Don't see the point of the squared off fly roof, seems to throw away headspace.  As with all dome tents, that headspace falls away quickly, an alternative to that is the transverse tunnel, they don't look dissimilar from the outside, but completely different feel inside.  They also continue the head height into the porch, making it a lot more usable and stopping the rain getting in.  Tents like the Alpkit Jaran:

I just bought a Robens Boulder.  It is in last year’s colours so £110 delivered vs +£200.   Very similar, inner pitches first.  Not used it yet but I have added 2 x extra peg down points, one on each of the sides without doors, to help keep the outer away from the inner if windy.  It is actually a 3 person tent, but must be for 3 x small people.

That looks a bargain.
I used to camp with someone who had a Rubens tent, can't remember the model but basically a dome.  The only major difference between it and my Terra Nova, which cost three times the price, was the weight, 700g heavier.

The Boulder is about 2.9kg which seems ok.  My previous tent was definitely heavier and felt a bit more substantial.
Two year warranty with it.
Time will tell how good it is!

I spotted this one on that Outdoor world site.

https://www.outdoorworlddirect.co.uk/robens-challenger-2-exp-tent.html

Looks quite interesting and there's a good price reduction.

I can't endorse it as I don't have one ( I'm still using a ME Dragonfly 2XT from 19frozentodeath!. Still a great tent though, yes a bit heavy and not the quickest to put up or take down. I do like having a porch/extension as I can then have my panniers close by.)

Good to have The Jagmeister back on board!

Lightweight tents are a compromise between space and weight and to a lesser extent stability.  If you found your previous Akto claustrophobic, I think you’d be wise to trade a little weight for some extra space. Two hoop tunnel tents offer a reasonable compromise between space and weight and resist winds fairly well, especially if pitched end on. The near vertical walls make them feel quite spacious inside and the two poles give good headroom throughout. The addition of a third pole allows for a sizeable porch which provides a more civilised living experience if the weather forces you to hunker down.

Whatever tent you choose it’s always a good idea if you can actually visit a tent showroom and try it for size. Finally, don’t overlook the second-hand market, there are often bargains to be had.
