Nice colour, was that ever a stock colour, I'm partial to green, as long as it isn't too dark, and have never had that option on my Thorns from new.  Though I did have one painted.

Before I read PH‘s response i saw the colour and thought exactly the same thing. In fact, I used to own a 1994 Toyota Startlet in a similar colour my wife nicknamed ‚Froggy‘.

There is a Berlin micro bike manufacturer called Froschrad which literally translates as frog bike where a similar green is a popular choice. I often park my bike next to one ridden by one of the doctors at the hospital who’ve been treating me the past months.

I never rode a Froschrad but they do hold their value 2nd hand having a cult following suggesting they are probably one of those insider tips on a half decent bike worth owning. There is a similar frog green Froschrad to compare that I found on the net. You need to scroll down for a series of pics of what looks like a nice frog green touring bike:
