Now that my wife has an ebike, we never ride our tandem anymore. Consequently I’m planning on selling up. However, I intend to sell minus wheels as I use these on my Thorn Raven bike then swap onto the tandem when needed.
Would anyone be interested in buying the tandem frame with all parts as outlined below (so can just swap in your rohloff wheel set - EX type), or would I be better off stripping and just selling the frame and forks in isolation?
Frame is blue, double marathon with s & s couplings. Condition is good but it has some chips and scratches.
Suits pilot around 5’9 to 6’2 and stoker from around 5’ to 5’10 (my estimate).
Fitted with lovely Brooke’s flyer special brown saddles (ladies version rear) and quality shimano XTR rim brakes and levers (with blue css pads). Shimano Deore chainsets with rohloff chains. Rohloff EX shifter, ergo front grips, splittable cables etc.
Is anyone interested and if so, would your preference be frame only or frame plus all parts (less wheels).
Not sure on price but probably thinking £700 - £1000. Let me know if interested and I will try and get some photos sorted.
