Hi, it's hard to say - I'm 5ft10 but the seat is quite high up. The standover height is 80cm (floor to top tube) and the top tube is approx 55cm. With a very short stem and seat lowered it might be just right. You're welcome to come and see it and have a test ride etc.. If you want any more pics or measurements just let me know. Cheers

I do not wish Alun to lose a potential sale, but as the previous owner I can tell you the bike would be too large. Informing you to save wasted journey etc

Best regards,
John

That's a very nice bike and if John built it then it will be top notch.

If goldfinch is still out there and is still interested in 'this' bike he might want to get in touch with me. I have the same bike with additional add ons. Its in good very good condition with additional add ons. Spec will vary from Johns. I think its about 10 years old. Blue. Same sizing. I'd have to go and check it all out. Reason for considering selling is I've grown older(with the accompanying relatives it brings)and I've an Orbit which doubles-up on the cycling I like to do...but don't do as much! It's a reluctant sale. But its one I am considering.

Come Spring it might go on Gumtree with pics. I'm sorta trying to figure a price I should ask: not giveaway, not crackers
