new thorn raven...clunking

I took my new Thorn Raven out for a proper ride today for the first time and I've noticed that there is a noticeable clunk/movement within the gears which feels like a dodgy bottom bracket.

Does anyone else have this issue? it's quite annoying, it happens on every turn of the pedals and it's a bit of a jump. hardly a smooth ride!

Sounds familiar.

Feel under the BB for the two big silver nuts. Check that they're tight.

It certainly does sound as if either the eccentric bottom bracket bolts are loose or that the ebb itself is loose through not being aligned centrally.
