Help...Selling my Nomad Mk2
« on: September 07, 2019, 04:49:21 PM »
Does anyone out there have any advice about selling my Mark2 Nomad which I bought direct from SJS a couple of years ago ?
It's in great condition for only being used on one big tour. So here's the questions (s)…..

I can't find one for sale so can't really determine a fair price. Any ideas?
I'll obviously post the bike for sale here but what other sites would you recommend?

I'm hoping to use the proceeds to go towards an ebike or lighter tourer.

Many thanks,

Derek

The specs vary so perhaps a good start is to list everything.
Plus any extras you are throwing in?

Think in terms of a certain percentage less than new replacement cost.  If you are not in a big hurry, you can start high and work lower over time.

I've heard SJS offer good advice in this regard. If you are looking at a Raven they might consider a trade in. Offering here is a good place to start. Knowledgeable buyers will pay a fair price for a nice Nomad.
I bought new but would have had no concerns buying a used Nomad, provided it had been maintained and cared for.

Thanks , as ever!

I'll get the original spec sheet and invoice I got from SJS which has the full list, including all the extras I ordered at the time. I went for top specs all round as the bike was well tricked up when I bought it. I'll also try to post some photos too.

Cheers
