Thorn Mercury Rohloff
« on: October 21, 2018, 01:28:00 PM »
Hi folks,
I bought in 2014 a Thorn Mercury Rohloff fully fitted with panniers, front wheel alternator, usb power socket etc. Unfortunately I did less than 1000km when I had a spinal cord tumour removed. Travelling is now curtailed. Anybody have advice on how much to sell it for & where? Or am I better selling the bike in pieces? Size-wise it was for 6’/183cm male.
The bike cost £4070 in 2014.
Cheers,
Vern

This one has been for sale for a while and the price has dropped from £2400. Not what you wanted to hear I'm sure.

Thanks Bobs,
Not really worried. It is my health that was the issue, selling the bike is secondary. Sell her and move on. What I hoped to do on the bike, we are now using an RV (with Merida 900’s).
