FOR SALE: Thorn Exp 560SI am selling my wonderful Thorn Exp expedition bike. The bike has been sat in a box for the past few years and is unlikely to be used for its intended purpose in the foreseeable future. I have taken this bike on two big trips, across Africa and Norway, and it was the perfect bike for the job. This bike has got many thousand miles left in it, so it's time to see it move on to a better home. I have spent a bit of money doing it up to sell, with brand new BB, chain, cassette, chainset and cables. I bought the bike in 2013, and the previous owner had done a great job in restoring the frame with Tiller Cycles in Warwickshire. I customised the bike with the set-up I wanted, which included new wheels from Spa Cycles, a flat handlebar and no-nonsense downtube friction gears.
