Around the world on a Thorn eXp!

My book 'Terning: Around the world by bike', is out now and available on Amazon. Please click on the link below to have a look or download a free preview.

Book description - "A few days after his 23rd birthday, Sam left his home in Cornwall to cycle around the world. His solo journey would take him over 36,000 miles, from France to Singapore, across Australia, and from Alaska to Argentina. Before he reached the half-way point, he had been arrested in China, horsewhipped in Mongolia and given much-needed water by nomads in the Gobi Desert. This book is a story about the challenges he faced, but it is also a story about the kindness and generosity of the people he met along the way."

Downloaded the free sample from amazon to read and so far it’s really good... dark, witty and tense in places. Reads to me a bit like a thriller and I’m hooked so will be downloading the full version.

Sam - just wanted to let you know I loved your book.... it took me back to the youth I scarecely had but wished I’d had. What a fantastic adventure. You captured the highs and lows of travel on 2 wheels. Not sure what you are doing now, but hope you keep writing and share that with us.

Thank you for getting in touch again - your comment means a great deal to me, and I'm delighted you made it to the end!
My current occupation is perhaps a little less interesting - teaching English in China while I figure out what to do with my life; maybe another adventure in the not too distant future.
Thanks again - it's greatly appreciated.
All the best,
Sam

What a fantastic book.  I am only as far as Hungary, so barely started.  It's really well written.  I am struggling to think of a better written cycle touring book.  They all tend to be so formulaic.  Well done Sam.
