Not mine, I saw the posting so I mention it here.  Thorns are quite rare in USA, so I specified that in the title.  The size looks smaller than mine, but he does not list the exact size.

Thanks for posting!!!   My interest/gratitude is simply that I am a Thorn Nomad owner in Los Angeles, CA, USA,
so this adds to learning about any presence of Thorn here!   I followed the link.... it's a gorgeous amazing well
equipped unit and looks in fantastic condition, like brand new.   the owner/seller made a nice video on it.

(i have/ride a pre-Rohloff older Thorn Nomad).

Anyway, thanks for posting.... looks like an amazing bike...      Rory

Thanks for the repost Mikeg, it's much appreciated! The Thorn belongs to me and is in great condition. Procyon yes I live near LAX airport. It's good to hear about other local Thorn enthusiast. Once again thanks for spreading the word 👍.

Andy, i don't know the methods on this site the best, but ask the commentator/administrator if you should possibly start a new posting on your bike FOR SALE.... your video is great, but you might want to add the SIZE of the bike or frame as that's important.   I'm a very ignorant Thorn enthusiast, i just love my bike, and the whole pragmatic-aesthetics of the Thorn bikes, and feel fortunate to have mine.   But you might want to start a new post?   Even though Mikeg's post on your behalf is hard to miss, especially put CALIFORNIA, L.A., USA in there as they are very rare here, so someone who happens to want one and happens to be in the U.S., and of course especially the west coast area, is totally going to notice your bicycle ad.    Obviously, there is Craigslist where i've never seen a Thorn, and i do not know who the premier Bicycle online ad forum is for L.A., Calif, etc.    Certainly, lots of enthusiasts here... few that know Thorn, but the ones who do are going to wake up when they see your ad.    Good luck.  too bad you're selling it, it's gorgeous, but if you sell it, hope if finds a great new owner.     :)    In the Video the bike looks in PERFECT condition... the tiny few scratches in the paint seem pretty miniscule.   Be curious to see what size it is.  by the way, the Administator, Danneaux, lives on the west coast of the u.s., and has been very helpful, although i would assume he's already aware of your post or bike... but maybe contact him?

Thanks for the advice. Yes, I've already posted an advert on here with the specified size of the bike. Its been on craigslist for about a week now but, some people have been making outlandish offers. I know ebay charges to sell items but, I think I may take that route because, it will bring international buyers. Yes I made the video so that possible buyers can see it in detail! Yes you're right, it's in very good shape. I've checked the bottom serial number and it starts with 540Lwhich, I believe to be the size.

Hi Rory and Andy!

I was in an area of limited cell range yesterday and today, so I could read this but not respond.

I think it best to leave both ads up and running. They're enough different that if I merge them, they'll be mush and having two might help Andy's chances to sell.

Best of luck!

Dan.

I'm glad Dan (Danneaux) is in the loop on your Thorn for sale now....  I'm sure he can give you the type of data to list
along with your excellent video, and whether you should post some stills photos, or what works best.  He will know.
it looks to me like 540L is the frame size, yes, but again, i'm probably the most ignorant person on this forum, so Dan
will know what specs you could list.   Best of luck.   Research what they sell for on ebay, first, so you know the price
you should be looking for, certainly.   Hope you don't have to sell quickly as in emergency, so you can get appropriate
amount.  the negative here is massive amounts of bicycle enthusiasts, here, do not know Thorns, but the ones who do,
and if they are in the market, especially if you find someone very close to buying one out of England, would make very motivated
buyers.

What a great bike! If it was anywhere in Scotland I would make the pilgrimage just to see it!  ;)

Hello Dan yes, I believe keeping them both up would be the best route. Thanks for the feeback! I really appreciate all the feeback/suggestions I've been getting from eveyone on this forum. It's great to know we all share a passion for cycling and the craftsmanship that goes into these magnificent machines. Thanks Rory I've tried to list all the components in my post as best as possible. This frame and the craftsmanship that has went into the couplings are grade A which, to me is a highlight. Im not in a rush to sell it but, I figured Spring/Summer would be the right time to give someone an opportunity to pickup a great bike. There have been a few listed on ebay for around £2,000  without S&S couplings. Lastly I would like to see the Nomad go to a good home, with someone who would use it to its full potential.

Thank you for the compliment. Yes it is a great bike! That's unfortunate that we're so far apart. All is not lost though, here's a video of the bike. Its probably the closest thing to seeing it in person... Cheers! Youtube link:  https://youtu.be/stw4_AGj_JA
