anto,
I have been washing a sailing dinghy down in the back garden today in the glorious sunshine and warm wind. ;D

However I can see from the weather radar that your prayers may be answered as all your rain is heading here. :(

I hope you get out soon in some sunshine.
Julian.

Some weird weather going down... An hour ago, we just had our first rain in about three weeks. The past week-plus, we've had daytime highs of 30-32°, with humidex readings of 40.  This is late July/early August weather at the end of Sept.  The daytime highs of the past week are about 3° higher than previous records (set all of 8 years ago!)

Things go back to "normal" tomorrow -- a cold front is going through, and Thursday shd be sunny with a high of about 18, breeze from the NW. sounds like a good day for a ride in the hills :)

Mr Trump reckons climate change is all a hoax .
weather is crazy ,mind you can't depend on Irish weather one minute it's raining next minute the sun's out ,
today on my walk i though it wise to take rain paints ;) half way up the river it lashed rain so i wipped out the pants had to take my boots off witch was a struggle  i managed tho, but the pants  were about 3 sizes to small had to wip out the swiss army knife and cut the elastic in the waste  ;D ;D.

i'm a top geek for sure it was about 4 years or more  since  i bought them i was couple stone lighter then .
yeah anyhoo i hate this feckin weather roll on the summer.
if i win the lottery i'm out of here.

<nods> It certainly is going all wiggly-woggly here, Anto.

On 19 September we already had snow at one of Oregon's mountain ski resorts...

Down in the Valley today, it has turned hot -- currently 29.4°C/85°F.

Best,

Dan.

Since Ireland I went to both the York and Mildenhall Rallies taking three days to cycle there for both. I camped on the way and while I was there but took the train home because of family events. That’s all the cycle camping I have done since I saw you.

I have twice been down to Devon visiting family taking three days each way but staying at Hostels. Also did a couple of short five day tours with Pauline starting and finishing at home but staying B&B.

We are doing another short five day tour in Wales next week. Again using B&Bs.

Like I said on that campsite at Cashel I think I am getting too old to both cycle and camp so I would prefer to just keep cycling.
