We both agree on where we want to go,  then  I do the planning.  It has worked well for the last 9 years with no problems.
Don't  let one bad experience put you off.
We are going to do the Taurenradweg  through  Austria and Germany  in the beginning of May.

To be honest i never heard of it Bob i'm a country boy but it sounds exciting Tail winds buddy.
i hate planning to be honest never seems to work out murphys law  :o

still I'm happy enough doing long day trips or the odd overnighter  ,finding a guy to tour with it's next to impossible (your lucky) and i'm not into solo touring i like a bit of craic  ,sure i would drive meself mental if i was on my own. ;)

No riding for me for the next few days. Not enough tread on Compass tires.

Forecast is for 15 to 25 cm snow by tomorrow night, followed by an Arctic blast for at least four days with clear skies and temps of -2C daytime and -11C nights. When the warm moist Pacific air returns there will probably be another snowstorm, so it'll be a couple of weeks before I get another ride in.

The odds of a white Christmas are improving from the Vancouver average of 10%.

:o Yaaaugghhh!  :o It got you, Ron!

Went down as far as Portland and missed me here in Eugene. Grateful for that, but oh! Time to get out the skis in V-town.

Hope it melts soon so you can get out on the bike once again.

Best,

Dan.

One daughter is coming home for Christmas from Milwaukee WI and wants it to be green. The other daughter is coming from the far South of Japan and wants it to be white.
