Rear Rack for an Enduro
« on: April 29, 2007, 08:19:39 am »
Has anyone actually used the rack bosses on their Raven Enduros?  Are there any quality racks that fit; I bought the bike on the understanding that Thorn were going to produce a lovely stainless steel rack (as stated in their catalogue); this unfortunately does not appear to have materialised. There is this one http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/product-0-Delta-Megarack-Discrack-(ideal-for-bikes-with-brake-discs)--Black-12543.htm, however it looks like it would fall off after a few miles.  Should I just get the hack-saw out...

Have you had any joy with a rack for your Enduro?  How is heel clearance?

Thanks

Superfinlay,

I know it's a long time since you asked, but I visited Thorn at Bridgewater on August 30 and there were two Enduros in the foyer awaiting customer collection ..... both had rear racks fitted.  It might be as well to ask Thorn whether the same would suit your needs.

For easier reference, the Enduros both had metalic silver frames .... and were being purchased as pair.
