Just wondering if anyone in ThornLand might have an Ortlieb Ultimate V Plus large handlebar bag in all-black Cordura for sale.
Mine is beginning to show some wear, and I don't like the black/grey colors on the current Ultimate VI version, which has some features I'm not so enthused about. I carry a portable hard drive and my credit cards in my HB bag and the newer version uses strong magnets to secure the lid instead of the snaps on my version. The new version is only available in black and grey, not all black, and I'm not completely sold on the new map case attachment. I don't need the locking lid of the new version 'cos I always take my HB bag with me whenever I leave the bike.
I really want the Large version, as it weighs just a few grams more than the Medium, yet offers a bit more room for light but bulky items like my wind jacket, which is convenient to keep close at hand.
If one is available used and in real good condition with mounting bracket and map case, I'd be grateful to hear about it.
