I drew in my breath sharply in amazement when I realized that view from Arnside Knot is a single composition, Simeon. I first thought the top half was a panorama, notable, indeed stunning in its own right. But to have it merely as a detail in another composition takes the cake. The grain on the rails in the foreground with the detail in the deep, deep distance is by itself notable. This is one of your best in a whole row of remarkable photographs.
