Classic 1965 Moulton in good condition. Fitted with many upgrades to make this a thoroughly practical everyday bike. Extremely comfortable as it has full suspension both front and rear.
16” alloy wheels with modern S/A drum brakes and new cartridge bearings front and rear. Nearly new Brompton green (Kevlar puncture protection) tyres. This gives a “no maintenance” wheel set that will not wear the rims out and works just as well in the wet.
Strengthened and re-brazed rear fork by “Moulton Preservation”
7 speed wide range derailleur using good quality mid-range Shimano components giving a gear range of 25-80 inches. Grip shift changer. All in perfect working order.
Alloy flat handlebars with bar ends, alloy brake levers, computer, alloy seat stem with modern single bolt saddle clamp. Selle Royal saddle.
Spray painted dark blue, the paint is sound and there is no rust but it’s not what you would call a shiny finish! It’s a good practical finish that will wear well and it looks good as long as you do not inspect it too closely! Nice Moulton decals and Moulton Head badge.
This bike rides and works really well and is only being sold to make room for a new project.
