I live in a beautiful place but really the Lake District is yet a good notch or two up the scale! I got to visit there a couple days or so back in maybe 1966 - Keswick - but I barely remember any of that. Recently I read a biography of Beatrix Potter, which made the Lake District feel familiar.

Just delightful, these photos! Must be just exhilarating riding!
