. . . and good luck from me, Phil!!
I'm the 'Lewis' that sold him the bike. I am delighted that it is now getting the sort of use that it should have had all along.
I talked about this a bit in a thread called, I think, 'Change needed?' or something, in the summer / autumn of last year. I bought a Cube Acid, which I am greatly enjoying. Which is the better bike? For what I am doing now, the Cube suits me better, and is more comfortable and easier on my aching joints. Part of the problem I think was that my posture needs had changed, and I could not adjust / revise the RT any more than I already had done.
But the more I read and think about it, the more I reckon that Thorn bikes are ideal for their real / intended purpose. My rides now are mainly urban, or on trails not far from my campervan base or civilisation. Would I take the Cube on a heavy camping trip to remote areas? No, but sadly perhaps I will not be doing that.
So keep pedalling Phil, and take care.
