My Raven Tour on tour.
« on: May 18, 2023, 04:29:00 AM »
I took this picture yesterday morning as i came down from my room to set off on Day 8 of my Thailand ride.
I'd left my Raven locked in the lobby and she looked so fine and beautiful, I had to take a snap.

Never lets me down and taken me on some great foreign adventures.

I must also thank the many folks here who have helped with advice over the years.

I wouldn't be where I am with you folks and my Raven Tour.

Cheers

Matt

Looks ready to roll! It is great when a bike just feels right.

Very slick, Matt. My Nomad looks like an old war horse in comparison. Does your Raven have a name?

Ah, you know me so well. Never leave home without a Chainglider.

My Raven's name?
I bought her second hand so I call her My Old Bird.

No mud? Roads pretty clear so far. Some roadworks are a bit rough but no mud. I'm expecting rain in the coming weeks so perhaps then.

Today's ride

I was away in the cool dawn at 0605. Made good progress with flat roads and cycle paths.
I'm using routes from Crazy Guy riders and today's brought me near enough to the guesthouse.

Two days here since my room overlooks the sea and I'm in no hurry on this tour.

Cheers chaps

Have a great ride Matt, another adventure the bike was designed for.  The difference between a sheepdog being put through its paces in a field v one on a lead round a park!

Funny you should use that analogy.
Our best friends keep sheepdogs and they are not working dogs. Just taken out for walkies.
Crazy.
I told them it's like owning a Ferrari to go shopping in.

Lovely bike to ride. Sometimes I feel I own 2.
One unloaded and another, loaded.
