When I was in the Thorn shop choosing my bike I was told that there was something I'd have to do maintenance-wise after about the first 100 miles of cycling. I was told it would all be clear from the manual, however it's not! and as they're not open at the weekend I can't call to check. Does anyone know what it is that needs doing?

IIRC you can expect the gear cables to stretch, requiring a bit of twiddling at the rear end of them to keep changes sweet. I'm still waiting to need to do this after 1200 miles.
