Had a very short lived snowfall here in Aberdeen about a week ago. Nothing since but I'm sure it's on the way. Other than that, the weather here has been okay for cycling.

Was a bit on Exmoor yesterday, so I saw on Facebook.  Haven't had a chance to go up and look yet.

Snow here (Dalkeith, Midlothian) last night and then it froze.
Sunny today but snow and ice remain…

Warmer and wetter here in the Oregon field office...looks like more flooding is on the way in the Valley and along the coastline, so likely more landslides also. The rain is falling as heavy snow in the mountains, most welcome for next summer.

Still getting out in the "whatever" and riding, though. Post-ride Nomad cleanup is a lot quicker and easier, thanks to the Rohloff's single chainring and cog.

Best,

Dan.

Snow in the Lake District! It's finally stopped raining this week and might get out on the RST on Sunday. Hills looked great today. Been commuting in rain and darkness for months so the bike is covered in a 'protective' coat of mud. Will attend to it when things dry up.

Good news, Dan!  I'm giving a thumbs-up to El Niño, the Nameless Weather Gods, whomever...  Wet In The Woods is good. Do take care with the mudslides and the floods in low-lying ground.

Rain in West Cork. What else is new?

i remember the Global Warming Years as the Cyclist's Golden Age. At this point in January we'd already been cycling out for nearly a week, talking of the weather being certain enough to ride down to the pub in Newcestown and getting home again dry after four hours, and I was going through my photographs as an aide memoire to finding turning places with tables for a picnic.
