New Thorn Model
« on: November 24, 2006, 09:29:14 PM »
Sorry if this has been covered before, as I am new to the forum.  Does anyone have any further information on the new Raven Nomad?  It could even be the other way around.  All I could see was a picture of a frame out of a box.  It looked like the bike was manufactured with the S&S couplers as standard equipment.  The finish looked more like a true flat black rather than the powder coat.  This may be an illusion, however since there were no other pics and no close ups.

Yes saw it the other day.  Thanks for pointing it out.  The frame picture I saw looked interesting.  I am actually strongly considering an Exp R, and other than the Thorn Brochure, I have not seen photos of the bike.  I see lots of Ravens and Nomads, occasionally an EXP, but never an EXP R.  I was hoping that my trip to SJS Cycles in March would not be the first time that I feasted my eyes on one!

John-  The Nomad is really captivating!  For a time it was my background on my desktop!  Have you ever seen photos of the EXP R outside the Thorn site?

John you are very naughty - every time I see the photos of team-triplet’s EXP I want to part with large sums of money.

It's like SJSC is the Death Star and my wallet is the millennium falcon being tracker beamed it!

Seriously from the first time I saw those particular photos (months ago) I have wanted an EXP. I only have one Thorn (3 other bikes) but my next bike will also be a Thorn - can't recommend them enough.

BEN: That's no moon! It's a bike station.
HAN: It's too big to be a bike station.
LUKE: I have a very expensive feeling about this.
HAN:. Full reverse! Chewie, lock in the auxiliary power.
LUKE: Why are we still moving towards it?
HAN: We're caught in a tractor beam! It's pulling us in!
BEN: You can't win. But there are alternatives to fighting have you consider credit!
