lads how much faith would you have in these weather stations you can get on the net
i just looked up one for next weeks weather here in ireland and its showing rain rain and more rain for the entire bloody week
why am i angry i'm going to be touring ireland next week thats why.

I've had really good luck with AccuWeather here in the States -- the most accurate source I know.

I see they also have forecasts for all-Ireland here:

That should get you started for general forecasts; anywhere specific, just enter the town name in the box and hit Go.

Unfortunately, they may also accurately predict rain when it is due. I'm really hoping the forecast is wrong, for you sake; not as much fun to tour in the wet.

I find the aeronautical forecasts the best, and the BBC the best provider.

Cork Airport: http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/6296696 Note that there is a separate forecast for Cork, the city, but the part of Cork I'm spending a fair amount of time in, Bishopstown, is just down the hill from the airport.

Kinsale, whose weather Bandon, being up the river, largely shares: http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2963155

Fill in any towns you have an interest in in the large green rectangle, not forgetting to add the word Ireland. I always start with the airport, because those are the most accurate forecasts, adjusted from actual readings (scroll down, check the RH side of the page to see the most recent observation), and then also look at the nearby towns, the weather of which are extrapolated from the airport observations.

XC Weather is good, it is for pilots so is pretty accurate.
