Nothing too negative. Most roads have a wide shoulder to cycle in so we feel quite safe. The larger towns will have a service/frontage road running parallel to the main road which takes you off the busy bit.
If you are booking accommodation as you go, we’ve found Agoda quite good and they generally have more options than Hotels.com and booking.com. Don’t use Choowap, they appear not to have real-time booking.
