SON dynohubs at SJSC?
« on: October 30, 2004, 08:45:01 pm »
I have a Dahon folder and it has narrow drop outs on the front wheel (about 75mm). Is there a son hub available for a 20" wheel with that size of drop out and a 28 spoke rim?

Hi Pedaldog, we expect these in any moment...

Schmidt SONXS dyno hub for Dahon 74mm OLN 9mm axle diam 28 hole

Finally its here, the worlds finest quality dynamo hub is now avalible to fit narrower Dahon forks! The Schmidt Dynamo front hub or SON (Schmidt's Original Nabendynamo) has significantly less drag than tyre driven dynamos. Made by Wilfried Schmidt Maschinenbau inTubingen,Germany, the hub is quiet and reliable, and is designed to give 50,000 kilometers of trouble free riding between servicing.  The hub powers several different headlights including Schmidt's own E6 and both Lumotec and Lumotec Oval Plus headlamps as well
